We are so pleased to have had none other than Marianne Williamson in our spiritual home on December 20th, speaking to a packed house. The grace and love shared by Marianne, who spoke on "Metaphysical Christmas", is still vibrating through everyone who was in attendance. While Marianne was with us she invited me to join her in LA in February for a meeting of "Sister Giant" (www.sistergiant.com) . I went to her website: www.mariannewilliamson.com and checked it out for the details. I invite you to do the same. Spending a weekend with Marianne and 500 of her closest friends of like mind was wonderful. The purpose was to raise awareness of how women have been silenced over the centuries (yes, centuries!) simply because women are powerful, which scares those who do not recognize this power as a good thing. The ones who rose up against women were and are frightened, and they ask: "where did this power come from and what are they going to do with it?". Consequently, there came an imbalance in the yin and yang, masculine and feminine. The drawing of the yin and yang shows equal sides, however, in our world there is no equality in the masculine and feminine, although it is constantly changing. Understand, this is not a movement to disempower the masculine, only a movement to empower the feminine to an equal standing which will, in turn, bring to the world what is currently missing. . love and peace. It is a movement to end hunger and poverty and to give a voice to the voiceless - the impoverished, hungry and uneducated. The population of people faced with oppression is growing daily, 17,000 children are starving to death every 24 hours, and our educational system is deteriorating rapidly. When this is allowed to continue we are becoming the grass roots training ground for terrorism, gangs, other radical behaviors, all of which threaten the well-being of everyone on the planet.
